Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to school!  I am the new principal at Clinton School and am looking forward to meeting you!  After students head to class at 8:00 AM, please stop into the multi-purpose room to say hello and have a doughnut and coffee with me.

We have a special schedule for just the first day, that I wanted to share with you:

7:40 – 8:00    School opens.  Parents are invited to come to the blacktop with students.  There will be first day of school  photo opportunities, music, our Chloe the Cougar, and all teachers and staff will be available to say hello.  Walter Muneton, our Board President, will also be there.  

Once parents have had a chance to take pictures and visit, students will line-up on their classroom number, which is painted on the black top.  Teachers will take students to class at 8:00.

For Parents of TK and Kindergarten Students only:  TK and K students will be dropped off at the entrance of their classroom, instead of on the blacktop.  Feel free to first walk around the blacktop and use the photo opportunity, “First Day of Kindergarten” backdrop or the other backdrop with props, before dropping off your child at the entrance of his or her classroom.  

8:00 - Students will go with their teachers to their classrooms.  Parents will leave the blacktop at this time.  

8:05 - Meet and Greet with the Principal - Coffee and doughnuts will be served in the MPR.    

The entire staff and I are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
